Product Description

PTFE Membrane Filters are the versatile choice for size-selective samplers. The material's unique properties make it ideal for gravimetric, chemical, and/or microscopic analysis of sample particulate. These filters are used for aerosol sampling, air venting and gas filtration. They are most commonly used in sample systems to protect expensive and sensitive analytical equipment. PTFE Membrane Filters are particularly suited to radioactive alpha particle monitoring, because they trap these particles on their surface, resulting in efficient detection with high resolution. Furthermore, they are backed with a high-contrast HDPE, making them easier to handle and install in radiation monitors.
